If you've been following Retirement Blog, you'll know that I've been in The Bahamas for the past 9 weeks, following my retirement. If you don't know any of that then you haven't been reading my Blog and I suggest you start from the beginning at Session 1.

Well this is just a quick update as I'm currently on my way back to the UK with Christine to start a major project of house decoration and garden redesign. More to follow when I can get another Black Book to make the plans. The last one was last seen floating in the Atlantic, off Harbour Island, thrown there by Christine who I have still to convince about the art of Project Management.

As you read about this I should be somewhere over the Atlantic, depending on what time the Editor, Ely, gets himself up and running this morning. If a rugby tour's on the island, it could be late. If he's had a late night at the BBYC (more on the another time) it could be even later.

But hopefully we will be over the Atlantic because the alternative is cold and wet. But am I looking forward to getting back to Retirement Part 2?
No.

This is the reality part, back home, long holiday over and lots of 'we' jobs ahead. This is were I discover if Christine can actually put up with me being at home each day or if we can in fact become a 'we'

Also the weather is not going to help, I looked at the 5 day forecast for Nassau just before we left and it showed daily temperatures in the 80s so I did the same for London and it showed mid 40s. So instead of 30ºC it will be just above 10ºC. I feel cold just thinking about it.

More to follow when I have arrived home and read the 342 items of mail plus 36 free papers and large quantities of flyers.

I have been following your exploits since Richard decided to liven up the last Business Development review with tales of your retirement. Now I understand why those meetings were never dull. You are obviously enjoying yourself far to much. I look forward to the book coming out. I like your style, I hear you made it to Kevin's leaving do. You must have brought a black book on the plane to plan that so well.

Regards
Gavin

Hi Gavin. Nice to hear your reading the Blog. You really should have something better to do but keep on reading. Had a good night with Kevin - may be worth a blog later. Business Reviews? Brings back a shiver - sounds like work. See you later.
